The collection contains material from a variety of donors through time for which there is little to no documentation. It contains material about, and created by Father Bray, as well as books and artifacts. The collection includes correspondence, artifacts, photographs, books, pamphlets, articles and audiovisual materials.
The collection contains primary source materials related to Hawai'i and the Pacific including: news clippings, documents, maps, posters, Hawaiian language dictionaries, a photograph of Waikiki from the 1890s and Hawaiiana. It also includes the 2nd edition (1785) atlas to Captain Cook's Voyages that illustrate his third voyage and the scene of his death.
Intended as a learning collection, included are a variety of fossils for scientific study and material culture samples from the collector's own studies and travels. Also includes donor narratives.
Collection consists of two scrapbooks created by St. Andrew's Cathedral Grounds faculty member Thomas Pierce Rogers. Includes images of 'Iolani School campus, people, events; as well as Hawai'i and other scenes.
